A more comfortable home

Home climate control

For bedrooms that stay too warm at night, home offices that overheat or garden rooms that are difficult to use through the year. A modern split system can provide cooling in summer and heating when the weather turns colder.

What to expect

Start with the rooms that need it most.

You do not need air conditioning in every room. For many homes, the biggest improvement comes from one or two spaces that become too warm in summer or hard to heat comfortably in winter.

01

Bedrooms

When the room is still hot at midnight, a fan can only do so much. Quiet, controllable cooling can make it much easier to settle down and sleep comfortably.

02

Home offices

Computers, glazing and smaller rooms can make working from home uncomfortable quickly. Heating and cooling keeps the space usable through more of the year.

03

Garden rooms

Garden rooms can swing from very hot to very cold. A reversible system can make the room feel like a proper part of the home rather than a seasonal space.

04

Living spaces

For the rooms you use most, fixed climate control gives you a simple way to keep the temperature comfortable without relying on portable fans or heaters.

Useful to know

Home air conditioning for bedrooms, offices and living spaces.

Home air conditioning is often most useful in the rooms that cause a specific comfort problem, such as an upstairs bedroom, glazed extension, loft conversion, home office or garden room.

One room may only need a single split system. Where several rooms need heating and cooling, a multi-split arrangement may be worth considering depending on the property and pipe routes.

Quiet, controllable comfort at home.

Bedrooms need particularly careful planning because noise, airflow direction and indoor-unit position matter while you sleep. Living rooms and offices bring different heat loads from glazing, people and equipment.

The aim is not to make a room freezing cold. It is to give you reliable control so the room feels comfortable when the weather outside is working against you.

Common questions

Questions people ask before getting in touch.

Can you fit air conditioning in a normal UK home?

Yes. Split air conditioning can work well in bedrooms, loft rooms, living spaces, home offices, extensions and garden rooms where better temperature control is wanted.

Will a bedroom air conditioner be noisy at night?

Modern equipment can operate quietly, but equipment choice, sizing and unit position all affect the experience. Bedroom installations should be planned with night-time use in mind.

Can I have one outdoor unit for several rooms?

Sometimes. Multi-split systems can connect several indoor units to one outdoor unit, although the best arrangement depends on the property and pipe routes.
