Portable air conditioning
A practical option when an outdoor condenser is not allowed. The unit stays inside and rejects heat through an exhaust hose.
- Good for occasional summer cooling
- No external condenser
- Needs a properly planned exhaust route
Cooling for static caravans across Yorkshire and the North East, from portable air conditioning with a neat exhaust route to permanent split systems where the site allows them.

Lightweight construction, large windows and a relatively small internal volume can make a static caravan heat up quickly in direct sun. The lounge can become uncomfortable during the day and bedrooms can hold that heat into the evening.
The right answer is not simply the biggest air conditioner you can buy. Park rules, pitch electrics, floor space, noise and how you get the hot exhaust air outside all matter.
Tell us the park, caravan size and which room causes the problem. Photos of the room and windows are useful. We can work through the cooling options and the practical route before you buy anything.
Ask about your caravanWe can help parks set a repeatable approach for owner referrals, rental units, scheduled installation days, electrical checks and acceptable exhaust or outdoor-unit arrangements.
Holiday park solutionsOn this installation the unit sits neatly in the corner and the exhaust runs directly through the wall behind it. That removes the need for a long hose across the room or a wide-open window around the duct.
We would only use a permanent wall outlet where the park has approved the alteration and the wall construction and external finish are suitable.

Room size, glazing, orientation, direct sun and whether the lounge is open plan.
The pitch supply and what else may be running at the same time as the air conditioner.
Where the rejected heat goes, hose length, external finish, drainage and service access.
What the site permits before any permanent wall opening or outdoor equipment is fitted.
If you operate a holiday park, lodge park or static caravan site, we can discuss a standard process rather than treating every request as a one-off.

Practical answers before you buy a unit or ask the park for permission.
Send the park name or postcode, approximate caravan size, which room gets too hot and any photos you already have. If you are a park operator, tell us roughly how many units or owner enquiries you are considering.
