What to expect

A repeatable air conditioning offer for the whole park.

The park should not have to reinvent the rules every time an owner asks about air conditioning. We can work within your site requirements and agree a consistent route for suitable equipment, electrical checks, external alterations and owner enquiries.

We will work to the park's own rules. Permanent wall penetrations, external condensers and other alterations should be approved by the site before work is carried out.
01

Owner referral route

If owners regularly ask the reception or maintenance team about cooling, we can provide a clear referral route so the park is not expected to advise on equipment selection or installation details.

02

Scheduled installation days

Where several owners want similar work, visits can be grouped into planned installation or setup days to reduce disruption and make access easier for the park team.

03

Rental fleet cooling

For parks operating their own rental statics or lodges, we can discuss repeatable cooling solutions for the units that suffer most from summer heat.

04

Agreed site standards

Portable exhaust arrangements, through-wall outlets, outdoor condenser locations and electrical requirements can be agreed with the park before individual owner work is booked.

Useful to know

A growing comfort issue for static caravan parks

Static caravans and lodges can gain heat quickly during sunny weather because lightweight construction, large areas of glazing and relatively small internal volumes allow temperatures to rise fast. Owners and guests increasingly expect a practical way to make the living area and bedrooms more comfortable during hot spells.

For a park operator, the challenge is not simply choosing an air conditioner. It is controlling how equipment is fitted, how electrical loads are managed and what changes owners are allowed to make to the caravan exterior.

Portable air conditioning without an outdoor condenser

Portable air conditioners can suit parks that do not want conventional outdoor condensers installed across the site. The unit remains inside the caravan and rejects heat through an exhaust hose.

The exhaust arrangement is the important part. We can work within an agreed park standard, from temporary window arrangements to a neat dedicated through-wall outlet where the park permits that alteration.

Fixed split systems where the park allows them

Some parks are comfortable with small outdoor condensers provided the position, appearance, noise and installation route are controlled. In those cases a split system can offer quieter indoor operation and reversible heating as well as cooling.

Before offering fixed systems to owners, we can discuss acceptable condenser positions, pipe routes, electrical arrangements and any visual standards the park wants installers to follow.

Electrical supply and pitch capacity

Air conditioning is a meaningful electrical load, so the available pitch supply and the caravan's existing appliances need to be considered before equipment is selected. A portable unit can draw around a kilowatt while cooling, and the total load matters if kettles, immersion heaters or cooking appliances are running at the same time.

For repeat installations, knowing the typical pitch supply and caravan layouts in advance makes the survey and selection process much more consistent.

Yorkshire holiday parks and the east coast

Our core coverage includes North Yorkshire, York, the Yorkshire coast, Teesside, County Durham and the wider North East. Larger park programmes can justify travel beyond the normal domestic service area.

We are particularly interested in building long-term relationships with holiday parks, lodge parks and static caravan operators that want a reliable route for owner cooling enquiries.

Common questions

Questions people ask before getting in touch.

Can you work directly with a holiday park rather than individual owners?

Yes. We can discuss an agreed process for owner referrals, surveys, scheduled installation days and repeat work across similar static caravans or lodges.

Can the park decide which types of air conditioning are allowed?

Yes. The park can set its own requirements for external alterations, condenser positions and exhaust arrangements. We can work within those rules rather than treating every owner enquiry differently.

Can portable air conditioning avoid outdoor condensers?

Yes. Portable units keep the refrigeration system inside the caravan and discharge hot air through an exhaust hose. The park still needs to decide what exhaust arrangements it will allow.

Can you cover multiple caravans on the same site?

Yes. Where several owners or rental units need similar work, grouping surveys and installations can make the programme more efficient for both the park and the owners.

Which areas do you cover for holiday parks?

Our main coverage is Yorkshire and the North East, including North Yorkshire, York, the Yorkshire coast, Teesside and County Durham. We can consider travel further afield for larger programmes.
